Thyme to Dye was created from a belief that color has a way of bringing people closer. There’s something powerful about gathering around a table, creating with your hands, and leaving with something you made yourself.We design mobile tie-dye experiences for birthdays, churches, workshops, and special events across Southwest Missouri. Each event is guided, structured, and stress-free — so hosts can enjoy the moment while we handle the details.Our goal is simple:
Create space for connection, creativity, and a little bit of color-filled joy.

FAQs

Do you provide shirts?
Yes. Each participant receives a shirt unless otherwise specified.
What kind of dyes do you use?
We use professional fiber-reactive dyes designed for cotton fabrics. These dyes create vibrant, long-lasting colors that bond directly to the fabric.
What should guests wear?
We recommend wearing clothes that can get messy, as dye may splash during the process. Aprons and gloves are provided, but tie-dye can still be colorful.
How do you collect shirt sizes?
Shirt sizes are collected 7 days before the event when final payment is due. The event host receives a link to a simple size form. This ensures we can prepare the correct shirts and supplies for your group. We bring a limited number of extra shirts when possible, but specific sizes cannot be guaranteed without advance submission.
How long does an event last?
Most events run 1.5–2 hours depending on group size.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Dates are secured upon deposit. No holds without payment.
Do you travel?
Yes. We serve Southwest Missouri and surrounding areas. Travel fees may apply.
What is your payment policy?
A 25% non-refundable deposit secures your event date.
The remaining balance and final guest count are due 7 days before the event.
Pricing is based on the estimated guest count at booking. Guest increases may be accommodated with notice, but reductions do not lower the original quoted total.
Can I book with short notice?
Events booked less than 7 days before the event may require a late booking fee and full payment at the time of booking.
